About the Designer
The company, now worth around €500 m was started by the French designers Domenico Dolce and Stefan Gabbana and is based in Le's Crousint`, near Paris. Dolce & Gabbana is a fashion house whose designs are popular in celebrity circles.

Originally inspired by eclectic, thrift shop Bohemia, Dolce & Gabbana's deeply coloured, animal prints have been described as "haute hippydom" taking inspiration in particular from Italy's prestigious film history. D&G Junior is a separate line aimed at children under the age of 11. Similar to the D&G adult line, D&G Junior follows seasonal trends for boys and girls across a range of ages. D&G Junior is more visibly influenced by popular culture compared to D&G, such as the Ibiza line of D&G Junior.
