Juicy is known for their terrycloth and velour tracksuits as well as perfume and leather and terrycloth handbags. Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Taylor (wife of John Taylor of Duran-Duran) founded Juicy Couture in 1994. The company started as a designer T-Shirt company.
Juicy Couture is a contemporary line of casual and somewhat dressy apparel based in Arleta, California, founded by Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy. Now owned by the Liz Claiborne fashion company.
Juicy Couture added collections for men and children in 2002. Juicy has since added accessories, jewelry, handbags and fragrances. They also sell dog accessories such as dog carriers, dog beds, leashes and collars.
Juicy Couture's label has reached the heights of such labels as Gucci, Guess and DKNY. This was accomplished by a brilliant marketing ploy.Juicy had also changed their tags on their products with many revisions. The updated tags used to feature a slogan "Made in the Glamorous USA" but now it has changed to "Born in the Glamorous USA"., dog toys, dog tags, and a variety of dog clothing.
Fast forward to today and under the Liz Claiborne aegis, Juicy Couture markets many items under many categories. They have both men and womens collections, children's collections as well as a mix of fashion accessories including jewelry, handbags and swim wear.
