About the Designer
Alyssa Ashley Nichols was born on 1984 in Los Angeles, California is an African-American television actress. She has been billed by her birth name as well as the name "Indigo Nichols", but for the majority of her career has only used the stage name Indigo.

A string of television guest appearances followed on programs such as Chicago Hope, Judging Amy and N.Y.P.D. Blue. In 2002 she was cast as Cheyenne Webb on the drama Boston Public. Indigo's first major television role was at the age of 11 when she played Julie on the American sitcom Minor Adjustments
